What is EGaDS?

The Electronic Game Developers Society, also known as EGaDS!, is a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin dedicated to computer and video game development. EGaDS! was founded in the spring of 1999 by Michael Agustin, now head of Gendai Games.

Our constitution can be found here.

We are programmers, designers, artists, musicians, writers, and producers. We are members of the U.T. community. We seek out ways to hone our skills, to increase our knowledge, and to network with fellow students and industry professionals. We create our own opportunities to advance in the art and science of game development.

Above all, we make games!
